Here's a little hint for anyone taking on a sewing project of any magnitude - Do not, under any circumstances!!!! jam your thumb into a wall (on purpose or otherwise) and rip off every teeny-tiny, painfully attached bit (except the cuticle) of your nail.
Really doesn't help.

OUCH!!! Hopefully it has gotten less painful...or will soon. I will definitely add this to the NOT TO DO list =)
ReplyDeleteIt does hurt less - man, it was a screamer. Now I am just trying to protect it as long as possible before it comes off completely.
